Meditation Strategies for ADHD & Peak Perfomance: Using NeuroMeditation to FOCUS
Increase your concentration, get focused, build self-awareness, and learn to shift your attention from negative to neutral. Increase your productivity and grow your brain. Sound too good to be true? Research and practice show that Focus styles of meditation can actually help you to do all of this and more.
This introductory class will teach you how and why Focus meditation works. Learn how this form of practice changes the brain and can be an effective approach for ADHD or other cognitive difficulties. In addition, this type of practice can enhance a variety of mental skills for us all.
Research has consistently demonstrated that experienced meditators have faster and more flexible brains than non-meditators. The trick is learning how to maintain a practice that is a good match your needs and goals. The Focus style of NeuroMeditation is an excellent foundation for any meditation practice and may be especially beneficial for those seeking to develop improved concentration, stability of attention, and self-awareness. It can also be a powerful tool to help manage symptoms of anxiety, depression, ADHD, and PTSD.
In this course you will learn:
How Focus NeuroMeditation influences brain functioning
A variety of seated and movement-based Focus Meditations
Tips and strategies to strengthen and deepen your practice
How to use technology to enhance your meditation experience
