Nicole Brule’, NMI Instructor

Dr. Brule’ is a clinical psychologist in private practice in Eugene, Oregon.  She received her doctorate from the Wright Institute in Berkeley, CA in 2006 and has been licensed in OR since 2008. In her private practice she works with adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, cultural adjustment, infertility and life transitions.

Since beginning to see clients in 2001, Dr. Brule’ has worked in many settings including schools, college counseling centers, community mental health agencies and crisis services. In these settings she has run assertiveness groups, done outreach, worked on suicide hotline, given presentations on topics such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness and cultural adjustment and awareness.

Dr. Brule’ has trained with two lovely local Buddhist lamas on and off for 10 years. Professionally she has been trained in ACT, which integrates a lot of mindfulness, and has been interested in interpersonal neurobiology and the brain for many years. Pulling together brain science and mindfulness is something she has felt passionate about for a long time. In fall of 2017 she was introduced to NeuroMeditation and it all came together and the interest and intrigue only continues to grow. It is truly exciting to offer such a powerful approach than helps tailor treatment to each individual, helps them integrate mindfulness, feel the changes and understand the process.
