Meditation works! In this 2-day workshop, you will learn the science behind meditation and discover that not all meditations are created equal.

  • Explore four specific styles of meditation: Focus, Mindfulness, Open Heart, and Quiet Mind

  • Learn the role of attention, intention, brainwave states, and brain regions involved.

  • Go beyond basic meditation practices and explore mind-body strategies such as biofeedback and meditation-in-motion (yoga, qigong).

  • While this workshop is open to anyone interested in learning more about the application of brain-based principles to meditation practices (NeuroMeditation), mental health professionals will learn a variety of practical tips and teaching strategies to use immediately with a wide range of clients – including those struggling with ADHD, anxiety, depression, and PTSD.
